I Was Given Phentermine About 2 Weeks Ago, Almost Immediately
Question: I was given phentermine about 2 weeks ago, almost immediately started having diarrhea. I thought it would subside in a few days but when it didn’t I stopped taking the pills. That was 6 days ago and I still have diarrhea. Shouldn’t the meds be out of my system by now? Is it possible that it was a coincidence and there is something else wrong? I’ve heard this med usually gives constipation but read online it could cause diarrhea?

See our body is a closed system and it does not work in the way you have written above.Its not a machine that when some thing is out of it things would settle down by themselves.
Most likely the drug irritated intestines in your case.As you continued taking it irritation changes to inflammation and therefore now even after leaving the medicine for 6 days you are still not feeling perfectly well.
I would suggest you to take tablet Imodium 4mg twice daily for 2 days to stop diarrhea.
Some times these medicines also depletes the intestinal flora causing good bacteria's to die off therefore over the counter VSL#3 Probiotic should be taken once daily for 10 days to replete gut flora again.
Along with it eat home cooked vegetarian food for few days.Preferably green lentil with boiled rice to give rest to inflammed intestine.
Drink plenty of oral fluids like coconut water orange juice etc.
You would feel better in 2 days.
