Question: I was in a car accident which resulted in permanent skin damage to both legs. Have chronic cellulitus, Arthritus in both hands, neck and ankles. I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. Colonocopy showed I have diverticuulitus along with irritable bowel. I had double knee replacement surgery. Since car accident both knees are bothering me.

My question is what pain med. would help

I forgot to tell you I am a type 2 diabetic, had triple bypass surgery and have high blood presure. I am taking various medications now.

I see that you already used Hydrocodone/Acetaminophen which is a good alternative for pain relief.
As over the counter medication I can suggest Ibuprofen 400 mg three times a day.
You can also use anti inflammatory gels such as Voltaren gel for local relief.

If over the counter medication does not give relief I would suggest:
-prescription anti inflammatory medication such as Celebrex
-Percocet which contains oxycodone and acetominophen
These are prescribed medications,so you should consult your doctor before using them.

Hydrocodone worked well for me but seems Doctors aren't allowed to prescribe them because of the opioids deaths in the US. I had no side effects from them. Is there anyway I can get a script for them?
