Question: I was lifting a small refrigerator and heard a loud popping sound in my forearm. I can pull/push against resistance. I can lift things. But rotating my wrist I feel a deep, sharp pain in my forearm. It happened 40 minutes ago and no swelling/bruising.

Hi there

Thanks for the query

If you have any associated bruising then it could indicate a muscle rupture. If you are about to do all movements of your elbow and wrist then it’s less likely muscle or tendon rupture.

Take Paracetamol and apply cold packs to see if you feel improvement. If not it’s best to consult your doctor who can examine you to find any ligament or tendon rupture.

I hope I have answered your query.
