I Was Recently Informed By Girlfriend, Whom I Have Been

Question: I was recently informed by girlfriend, whom I have been a relationship for the past 6 months which we were having unprotected sex, she recently informed that she has herpes, which she didn’t disclose to me prior to the beginning of our relationship nor during the relationship, however, she told me, I ended the relationship immediately, then I began to research on line about herpes because I don’t want herpes. I read that there are indeed visible and definitive symptoms of harpes
HSV-1: Also known as oral herpes, this type can cause cold sores and fever blisters around the mouth and on the face.
HSV-2: This type is generally responsible for genital herpes outbreaks.
HSV-1
Infection with HSV-1 can happen from general interactions such as: kissing. We indeed kiss
Some of the symptoms associated with this virus include:
blistering sores (in the mouth or on the genitals)
pain during urination (genital herpes)
itching
fever
swollen lymph nodes
headaches
tiredness
lack of appetite
a discharge from the penis or a drip
HSV can also spread to the eyes, causing a condition called herpes keratitis. This can cause symptoms such as eye pain, discharge, and a gritty feeling in the eye.
I am currently not experiencing these symptoms and not during the relationship. So is there a good probability that I don’t have herpes ?
Please advise

Brief Answer:
Regarding herpes infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to ask a doctor service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Herpes infection can be entirely asymptomatic. Therefore absence of symptoms doesn't rule out infection. I suggest you to take a blood test for HSV type 1&2, IgG and IgM (HerpeSelect).
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if you need any more assistance
