I Was Swallowing A Small Hard Round Pill For Progesterone

Question: I was swallowing a small hard round pill for progesterone replacement as I am pregnant. For some reason the pill got stuck in my throat and my body immediately thought to throw up and I did but the pill remained stuck in the middle of my throat. It was painful because the pill is so hard. I pushed on my throat to try and move it and the pain went away but it still feels like something is sitting there. I don’t know if it’s phantom pain or if it’s stuck just a little lower. My question is, will the pill dissolve no problem and my throat be ok if it is stuck? Or am I just feeling it still there from irritation?
Brief Answer:
The pill usually dissolves.

The pill usually dissolves. You are feeling the sensation of stuck pill because of irritation. Just drink a glass of water every hour for 3-4 hours. You will be relieved of that sensation.
Hope this is helpful.
