Brief Answer:
It's advisable to screen yourself for stroke

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

I can certainly understand your concern

As per your symptoms you possibly had an attack of Gait ataxia ( motor incordination)
In view of significant history of stroke in family members it's advisable to get the following tests to screen yourself for the same.

1. MRI SCAN OF BRAIN
2. FASTING LIPID PROFILE
3. ECG
4. FASTING AND POSTPRANDIAL BLOOD SUGAR

Review with reports to determine further course of action
Thank.
