Venous blood clot in lower limbs usually occurs when at rest / immobilized unless there are previous history of blood clots else where - heart, lungs or fractured bones. Considering you been walking when this started, I don't consider venous blood clot as the likely. Possibly you may have sustained an injury while walking. If it's still hurting, I would consider getting an X-ray of the affected area (feet) to assess the type and severity of swelling (inflammation). In the interim, avoid bearing weight / strenuous exercise. Ice the area and take over the counter pain medications.
