When I saw him I did not have a fever the last two days I have. I have had prostitus, but it has been a long time ago, I do see a urologist once a year. I’m just wondering how long I should wait to go back to the Dr?

Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I understand your concern.
The symptoms seem to be related to a viral infection.
This infection can usually last from three to five days.
So, you may wait this period to see the urologist.
If the symptoms continue I suggest other examinations such as a urine test and a urine culture to help through the diagnosis.
Meanwhile, for the fever you can use Acetaminophen 500 mg three times a day.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
