I Went To The ER A Few Days Ago With

Question: I went to the ER a few days ago with a feeling of 'pins and needles' along my entire left side from face to toes. After extensive tests (MRI, Catscan, Bloodwork, EKG, and Echocardiogram and even other neurological tests) came back completely clear, they just diagnosed me with a TIA. Unfortunately I still have the same symptoms and am not seeing my regular physician until next week. The night this all began I was doing some light lifting and moving of furniture so I am wondering if I may have a pinched nerve in my neck or somewhere else? I was not tested for that. It's not really painful just incredibly uncomfortable. I still have the pins and needles in my face, neck, arm and leg on left side. Thank you.
Brief Answer:
It is unlikely related to pinched nerve
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Pinched nerve generally does not cause this kind clinical picture. The symptoms are more likely suggestive of TIA, because the entire half of the body is affected and is of sudden origin.
Do you experience any anxiety related issues? because anxiety may worsen the symptoms and may exaggerate minor symptoms.
Hope I have answered your query.
Thanks

Thank you. Perhaps a little anxiety but not too much. Won't these symptoms go away eventually? It's been 3 or 4 days now. Is there anything I should do prior to seeing my regular physican next week?
Brief Answer:
You can wait few days.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
As all the work up has been done already and everything is fine, nothing more to be done.
Avoid unwanted stress and anxiety. Relaxation techniques like yoga and meditation can help a bit.
You can wait few more days for spontaneous recovery.
Thanks
