I Went To Urgent Care Because My Feet Are Very

default
Posted on Sat, 8 Jun 2019
Question: I went to urgent care because my feet are very swollen and I have pinpoint red dots on my feet, ankles, legs and chest. I had extreme itching followed by diffuse itching all over. I am short of breath. I have swollen, tender lymph nodes in my chest. My urinalysis showed blood.

My ECG said:
sinus rhythm
low QRS voltage in extremity leads
Moderate high-lateral depolarization disturbance, consider ischemia or LV overload
Abnormal ECG
PR: 90/134 ms
QRS: 88 ms
QT/QTc: 402/437 me
P/QRS/T axis: - / - /153 Deg
Heart rate: 71 bpm

The doctor at urgent care I should go immediately to ER.

What does this all mean? Should I really go to ER or was the doctor over reacting?

I have uploaded the ecg image. I am a female age 67 with pre-diabetes, normal blood pressure of 116/65, normal kidneys an thyroid. I am adopted but I’m not aware that my birth mother had any health issues. I’m feeling faint and dizzy. I keep feeling like I will pass out. I do not have chest pains or palpitations.

I just spoke to the oncall cardiologist at UCLA and he said my ecg findings are unremarkable and means my heart is thickened. He said the itchiness is unrelated to my heart, that it is an allergic reaction. He told me to take Lasix for the swelling and Benadryl for the itch. He said not to go to the ER for those symptoms. When I told him I have shortness of breath and feel faint he said to go to the ER and get checked out.
