Question: Hi doctor, I am looking to get my eyes treated with LASIK procedure for the eye power removal. I would like to know is it really safe and which method is more safest and what are all needs to be checked in the doctor for considering him as LASIK surgeon. My eye power is 1.75 and 1.25

Hey thanks for the question. The doctor will need to check your corneal contour and thickness with a corneal scan . Your retina ( back of the eye ) will need to be tested for any weak areas . If everything is ok you can go for lasik . Customised lasik is good . Femto lasik is another option but it is a littel expensive than customised . You should discuss all options with the surgeon and take action accordingly. Hope it helps .
