Brief Answer:
Menopause usually happens after 50 years of age

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome,

Menopause usually happens around 47 years of age in XXXXXXX women. Worldwide this age is around 50 years. Many times it matches with age of menopause in mother or other female relatives.
It also does depend on many other factors like occupation, contraception use, physical activity, number of live child births, breastfeeding history, marital status. Employment, OCP use, exercise, lesser number of children, literacy, low income, sexual inactivity and lack of breastfeeding have shown in some research to lower the age of menopause by a year or 2.
Lifestyle diseases like diabetes or hypertension and stresses can also lower the age of menopause.

Hope this helps. Let me know if I can assist you further.
