Brief Answer:
Further tests may be needed for a correct diagnosis.

Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to "Ask a Doctor " service.

I have read your query and here is my advice.

Regarding the symptoms and the fact that you resulted positive for autoimmune diseases, the possibilities are multiple sclerosis, Sjögren's disease, etc.

If the imaging tests that you refer you had done or blood tests resulted inconclusive, further tests in this direction ( autoimmune diseases ) should be undertaken.

If your Neurologist thinks about multiple sclerosis, lumbar puncture and cerebrospinal fluid examination may be necessary.

If you can provide more information about the tests results that you had I can be more specific about the answer.

Hope you found the answer helpful.

Let me know if I can assist you further.
