Hello!

Welcome to Ask a Doctor service!

I understand your concern and would explain that as you are taking Angisar, your blood pressure values is not supposed to change even during the flight.

You should know that its action lasts for 24 hours.

So, if your blood pressure values are under control with one tab Angisar in the morning, there is nothing to worry about your blood pressure values during the flight.

You can take a glass of wine during the flight.

Regarding DVT, aspirin is not the best drug to prevent it.

Instead, I would suggest a subcutaneous injection of enoxaparine ( 0.4ml) or fraxiparine if you are a person suffering from varicose veins.

Otherwise I would just recommend to stand up during the flight ( walk to the bathroom) and move your legs frequently in order to prevent blood clots from forming in the legs due to sitting position.

Taking plenty of water or compression socks can help too.

Hope you will find this information helpful!
