Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXX
Thank you for writing to Healthcare Magic.
Please do note that a Provisional Tolerable Weekly Intake (PTWI) of 0.025 mg/kg (25 µg/kg) bodyweight have been decided for Lead (According to European Guidelines). This is equal to 1.75 mg/week (1750 µg/week) for a person weighing 70kg. The Permissible limits for infants is still very very less.
Moving on to the next metal that is Cadmium too, A Provisional Tolerable Weekly Intake (PTWI) have been decided for cadmium, 0.007 mg/kg
(7 µg/kg) bodyweight. This is equal to 0.49 mg/week (490 µg/week) for a person weighing 70 kg.
However in your case, as per the results of all the samples analyzed, high metal levels seem to be high (they are present in milligrams, whereas permissible limits through all the food sources for any person is only in few micrograms).
Here is what I would recommend:
1. Kindly write to USFDA (US Food and Drug Administration) and FSSAI (Food Safety and Standards Authority of India) and share the report with them as well. They shall be able to help you and recommend you accurately on this.
Do let me know if you need further information on this.
Best regards
