Brief Answer:
Wine sauce

Detailed Answer:
Hi
I have gone through your query and understood your concern.

Invocana(Canagliflosin) and Farxida( dapagliflosin) are both oral diabetes medicine that helps control blood sugar levels.

These drugs can be used together with diet and exercise to improve blood sugar control in adults with type 2 Diabetes Mellitus.

Invocana and Farxida works by helping the kidneys get rid of glucose from your bloodstream.Due to its mechanism of action, patients taking canagliflozin will test positive for glucose in their urine, but not for alcohol.

In my opinion,it can be the wine sause that had caused a false positive test.
The EtG test is quite sensitive and can detect even low levels of alcohol. In fact, the test can detect alcohol in the urine up to five days after consumption.

So,to conclude, the new medication is not the cause of your positive reading.
The low level of alcohol in your meal before the test can be the cause of the result.

Hope this is helpful.
Wish you all the best.
Research has proven that such incidental exposure to alcohol can result in a false positive on an EtG test.
