Question: Iam having severe stomach pain for several weeks. It does seem to be worseing, the pain runs stomach and around most of my waiste
and radiates to the back.No stomach meds work and no pain meds
work. My doctor does not know but he ordered a catscan.

As per your description, the pain is not located in one place.
It is radiating too.
You should be investigated to know the exact cause of pain.
In my patients, at first, I prefer an Ultrasound abdomen for any clue. Then, I go for a CT scan of the abdomen. If there is a chance, please get an Ultrasound abdomen and come back with the report for further clarification.
Nothing to worry.
Till then, please take the antispasmodic medications containing Dicyclomine twice daily after food. I also add a proton pump inhibitor like Omeprazole/Rabeprazole to my patients with similar complaints.
