Question: If a 78 year old male's liver is healthy, what is the cause of elevated iron in the blood?

In iron overload disorder a person absorbs too much iron from the food and drink they consume.

However if the other exams are normal and the iron it’s not that high over normal than you should not worry

I will suggest to repeat the exams after one month
