Question: Hi there. I’m wondering if plan b is crucial for me to take ? I had sex two nights ago. He wore condom so it was protected. Just scared for whatever reason something may have leaked. But there was no sign of leakage the putter part of condom was dry. I’m worried because I’m in my fertile window. My ovulation spotting g and breast tenderness happened yesterday so I am in my mid cycle pms. Please advise ASAP very worried

Brief Answer:
No need to take plan b

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear,
Thanks for trusting us about your health care.
I have gone through your history and understand your concerns.
As you were having protected sex ( with condom) and condom was not broken or no leak there is no need of plan b in your case as plan b containing high doses of hormones in it and may cause menstrual irregularities.
So do not worry much about it ,if it was protected sex ,no need of plan b ,condom is also almost 100% effective if used properly.
Hope found useful, feel free to ask more information.
Good luck

Yea condom was on. Just not sure if he ejactulated when he was in me with it in or he pulled out. And ejaculated . He did take off condone when he was out of me and I felt it it seemed dry. Do you think just to be very sure I should take it? I’m already sore breast so may have ovulated already please advise thanks! So worried!

Brief Answer:
You can take it.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
In your previous answers I think you told me he ejaculated inside the condom, so no need to take I pill but if condom was dry and if you are not sure about ejaculated it is better to take I pill to prevent pregnancy.
