Im 25 Weeks Pregnant Developed UTI 50-100,000 CFU Will This Affect Baby
Question: My wife is 25 weeks pregnant and recently developed a UTI (Citrobacter Koseri). The labs show her range is 50-100,000 CFU, her doctor prescribed her with nitrofurantoin 100 mg, should we be concerned about the health of the baby? Is there any risk? My wife has no symptoms but this is the second time during the course of her pregnancy that she’s developed this, it went away but it’s come back again.
