I’m A 18 Years Old Male. Recently I Found That
Question: I’m a 18 years old male. Recently I found that my urine look cloudy and smells fishy then I drank a lot of water and then the problem goes away. The next day, I stopped drinking that much water, the problem came back. If I take anti-inflammatory like ibuprofen, the problem goes away by its own. I have never had sex with anyone else, I hope it’s not STD or diabetes or it’s just Urinary Tract Infections. Thankyou so much for helping
Brief Answer:
Possible urinary track infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear, welcome to Ask a doctor service.
I read your query and here is my advice.
I think that this situation is not related to STD since you have never had sex.
The fishy smell together with cloudy urine may be related to an urinary track infection.
Using antinflamatory drugs such as ibuprofen can hide some signs such burning and pain.
I think you may need to do an urine analysis to check for infection. Probably antibiotics may be needed.
Using cranberry juice or tea is advisable for disinfection.
Drink more water.
Hope I have answered the question.

Thankyou so much for helping. Is it gonna go away by itself or I should consult a doctor and possibly give me antibiotics ?
Brief Answer:
Do an urine sample
Detailed Answer:
Hello dear and thank you for asking again. I don't think this can go by its own. The right thing to do is to do an urine sample to check for infection. Then you can consult a doctor to prescribe you antibiotics. I prefer bactrim.
Wishing you good health.
