I'm Having Pain Below The Chest On Left Side From
From 4days
Further evaluation recommended...
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to 'Ask A Doctor' service...
Well, there can be several reasons behind such pain, please provide the following details:
Your age, please...
-How bad is the pain (on a scale of 1-10, 10 being the worst)? Any heaviness over the chest, any excessive sweating?
-How is the pain? Is it constant or coming and going?
-Could you specify where/which part of the chest do you feel the pain? By the left side of the chest do you mean below the rib-cage/around the abdomen or any other region?
-Is the pain remaining constant in one area or spreading to somewhere else as well?
-Is there any pain during breathing? Or any pain during any specific activities e.g. climbing stairs, walking faster/during daily household chores?
-Any recent history of cough/cold/flu?
-Do you have any recent check-up of blood pressure and other health parameters?
If you're remaining on empty stomach for prolonged duration in the morning and taking only tea till that late, then, first of all, you need to change that immediately and start at least eating something healthy as a first thing...
Please provide these necessary details so that we can assist you further.

Welcome back,
Thanks for these details...
Sorry for the delay in my answer due to other working obligations...
Well, there can be various reasons behind this (starting from indigestion to musculoskeletal stress or some other cardio-pulmonary pathologies)...At this outset, it is recommended to get checked up by an Internal Medicine specialist or Chest Physician for further evaluation...There may be a requirement of some investigations (i.e. CBC, KFT, 12 lead ECG, Chest X-ray, etc.)
The blood donation doesn't seem to be related to this...
Meanwhile, you may take a mild analgesic e.g. PARACETAMOL 500mg twice daily after food and an antacid e.g. Cap. PANTOPRAZOLE 40mg once daily before breakfast for the next 2-3 days...
Not to worry but don't delay this either, go ahead with the check-up as mentioned and proceed thereafter...
