Hi and welcome to HCM.
It would be helpful if you inform me about other symptoms such as presence of nausea, fever, vomit, is pain exaggerated by movement or by food intake? This may suggest lumbar spine issues such as arthrosis or nerve impingement, it also pancreatitis or kidney stones may be considered. Serious issues are abdominal aorta aneurism and if there is pulsating feeling in abdomen, with dizziness then see doctor as soon as possible. I suggest to take tramadol 50mg for pain along with ranitidin, rest and have easier diet. If fever or progressive pain occur, you should see ER. Wish you good health. Regards

I am also getting minor cramps in hands and legs. Not as debilitating as back, sides and stomach. I’m currently traveling and looking for some relief until I can get back to home to see my DR. I’m sure I’m getting enough fluids, so I don’t think I’m dehydrated. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Would heating pads work??
Sincere thanks for any suggestions.

hi
Detailed Answer:
Well, cramps may be another issues. It may suggest lack of magnesium or calcium and you should take magnesium and B12 supplements. Also, have enough salty diet. If you are on travel, you should have painkillers such as tramadol, ibupfrofen or perocet. You can apply heating pads it should help, or use analgetic ointments such as Redhot or Vaporub. I am sure it will improve soon Feel free to ask further questions. Regards
