Question: I’m having vaginal bleeding and I’m not due for my period for another 2 weeks. I did start birth control 2 weeks ago and I was told I might have some spotting with it but there’s a lot more blood than just a few drops. It’s as if I have my period.

I hope you have started the pill within 3 days from your regular periods. If you have taken daily the adequate dose it is unlikely to bleed .

I’m 20 and I’m taking Tricira Lo. I started the pill on the first Sunday after I got my period (day 4) two weeks ago.
