Question: I'm suffering from cough
Brief Answer:
Please describe your symptoms in detail
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome to Ask A Doctor service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
Kindly describe your symptoms in detail, how bad is the cough, how many episodes per day, is it dry or with mucous, what colour is mucous, any past history of medical condition, or past history of cough, does anyone around you have cough or fever etc?
Since you have cough and in view of current covid-19 scenario, it is advised that you self-isolate yourself for atleast 15 days or atleast 5 days after you recover. Alongwith take other precautions for corona as well.

Brief Answer:
It seems mild bronchitis
Detailed Answer:
Hello again
This seems to be mild bronchitis. Fever and other typical symptoms of a viral infection have not been mentioned.
If this is not resolving by itself in few days, then I would send for investigations including chest X ray, complete blood count and nasopharyngeal swab for culture and sensitivity to find cause.
After finding cause appropriate antibiotics can be started. I usually give amoxicillin-clavulanate for such symptoms when bacteria are suspected.
Meanwhile you can try tab cetirizine 5 mg before sleeping to deal with the mucous. Drink warm fluids or hot water.
Also keep isolated from others.
