Question: My 5 month old baby's pee sometimes smells very strong like a really bad poo diaper. Is this normal?

Hi ,
Thank you for your query.
An infant's urine may smell bad if it is concentrated due to less intake of breast milk. Concentrated urine has huge amounts of urea which gives a terrible smell.
Change diapers regularly and feed the child frequently if it happens.
There is no reason to worry if the development milestones of the baby is fine.
Consult your doctor if the problem persists.
