Is Avanafil More Potent That Tadalafil ?

Question: Hi

I am 37 healthy male suffering from psychogenic ED without any heart /BP problem. Please help me with the below details :-

1. Can i use Cialis daily 5mg for next 13 years to avoid any planning and to be ready at any time ? Is it safe to use for such a long time and also will it continue to be effective for such a long term ? I heard that medicines do loose their potency if they are being used for longer period of time.

2. Can Avanafil 100 mg/200 mg work as quickly as 10 mins ? Cialis requires planning so i don't like that . I just want to know if i can replace it with Avanafil so that i can take it just before the foreplay.

3. Is Avanafil more potent that Tadalafil ?

4. Can I go for malleable penile implant in case if I am not satisfied with the medicines? Just FYI,
I have been divorced once . And my second marriage is after 6 months. So I don't want to take any risk . Hope you understand.

Based on the facts that you have posted you seem to have been facing problem of Psychogenic ED since long time and have been taking Cialis to achieve hard erection .

I would like to answer your queries as detailed below.

1) Cialis can be taken for a longer period but the efficacy of the drug gradually gets reduced over a period of time needing to increase the dose or change the drug .

2) Avanafil is the drug that belongs to same group of drug like Cialis with only difference being early onset of action .The mechanism of action and potency of both the drug being same and equal as far as achieving erection .You can switch on to Avalis 100 mg 10 -15 minutes before planned sexual activity.

3) Malleable penile implant is the last resort when one fails to get hard erection with these drugs or with intra Cavernosal injection of Caverjet and is advised when ED is Vasculogenic in nature caused by inadequate arterial blood flow to penis .

I would suggest you to explain to your wife to be about your problem of ED to avoid any marital complication in future .

Thanks for your response. I don’t feel that pills are long term companion for young ED patients. I am too young now .I am not confident to go ahead with pills due to very high performance anxiety . They dont work with high performance anxiety. And I have seen some young couples who are not living adequate long term sex life with the use of these PDE5 inhibitors. They harm body too. Though they worked but I didn’t had satisfactory response from them in first marriage due to planning . So sometimes it was hit and sometimes it was miss. And each miss/failure caused anxiety .

I want to go for malleable penile implant before marriage so that I can live long healthy sex life .Many Young people are doing like this nowadays .

I cannot share this with my prospect wife at all since this will definitely results in marriage breakage . No girl wants to be a guy who is having a problem from Day 1 , especially if it’s an arrange marriage .

I have been divorced once .

Given the above details , can I go for malleable penile implants if XXXXXXX agrees ?

Thank you doctor . I have come across 2 good Andrologists in XXXXXXX who have done some good number of penile implants surgeries with infection rate less than 1 percent . One is Dr. XXXXXXX Sabharwal and other is Dr. XXXXXXX Banga .

Can you please suggest , which one shall I go for ?
