Welcome at HCM
I am Dr Saad Sultan and will be answering your query. I have read and understood your health concerns.
Why you are using it since both have different indications. They can't be alternatives to one another. One can't comment about it. If these are to be used for single problem then one can weigh two drugs on basis of efficacy and side effect profile. For which purpose you are using it ?
Aygestin is normally used in abnormal uterine bleeding , as contraceptive and in endometriosis.
Megestrol is indicated in age related cachexia( weight loss), breast and endometrial cancer.
Hope it helps
If you have any query feel free to ask.
