Is BP Of 100/50 Too Low While Experiencing Dizziness?
it may be too low for you
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
The lower limit of blood pressure is 90/60 mmHg. While, your top value (systolic) is above this but the bottom value (diastolic), is below.
It may be too low for you. Some persons normally have blood pressures that run on the low side and they have no symptoms.
But others may experience dizziness like you are having. Using extra fluids and a small amount of extra salt would help to increase it.
In the same way that persons with high blood pressure are told to cut down on salt and are given meds to get rid of extra fluid (diuretics), doing the opposite would help to raise the blood pressure.
You may also need to speak to your doctor about your blood pressure medications.
I hope this helps, feel free to ask any other questions
glad to help
