Is Botox Injection Necessary To Take Despite Being Asymptomatic For Blepharospasm?
Question: Hello. I am asking this question on my Dad's behalf. My dad is 60 years of age and he was having Blepharospasm. My Dad got the botox in December 2015 and is healthy now, he is able to do the daily work regularly and is staying happy.
As you can see it is close to 6 months, but till now he is OK and having noo issues. My question is do you think we would need another Botox injection?
If we do another Botox injection is it safe and all will be OK.
Is there any chance that my DAD does not need another injection?

Brief Answer:
Botox injection can be avoided now.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your dad's symptoms and past medical details. Since he has no symptoms, we need not go for botox injection now. Only when he has blepharospasm, we need to go for repeat botox injection.
