Brief Answer:
The results are definitely conclusive and no further testing is needed.

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

You had anal sex with a sex worker who is HIV positive but you started PEP within 48 hours and the test results after 3 months are non-reactive. So, nothing to worry at all as you are 100% safe and risk-free from HIV.

The test results are 100% conclusive and no further testing is needed.

PEP does not have any effect on the efficacy of test result and the symptoms are also non-specific for HIV. Be relaxed, forget about the episode and move on in life.

I'd also advise you to stay away from such unsafe sexual practices to prevent the future risk of HIV and other STDs.

Feel free to ask further.
Thank You

Brief Answer:
The test result after 3months is conclusive.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX XXXXXXX

Welcome back and thanks for follow-up.

The HIV test result is definitely conclusive after 3months as the window period for HIV infection varies from 15days to 3 months and taking PEP does not alter the test result in any way so don't get confused or worried because you are safe and risk free completely. You can definitely live normal sex life with your wife so just calm down and move ahead.

Thank You

Brief Answer:
Consult your physician to isolate the cause.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX XXXXXXX

The test result is conclusive after 3 months as per National HIV guidelines and the symptoms you have are not related to HIV so consult your physician to isolate the cause and follow the treatment regime. If still you have any doubt go for second opinion. Consider counselling services for the anxiety or fear of HIV because as per my opinion you are 100% safe and risk free.

Thank You
