Question: I HAVE AN BLADDER INFECTION I AM VERY SENSITIVE TO DRUGS AND VERY SCARED TO TAKE THEM. MY QUESTION IS I'VE BEEN GIVEN NITROFURANTOIN 100MG TWICE DAILY. COST $57.00.
BECAUSE OF THE COST, I ASKED MY DOCTOR FOR ANOTHER ANTIBIOTIC. CIPROFLOXACIN 250MG TWICE DAILY. $0 COST, BUT, THE SIDE EFFECTS ARE REALLY BAD. BOTH OF THEM ARE SITTING AT THE PHARMACY. I AM 70YEARS I STARTED TAKING CRANBERRY JUIECE LAST WEEK AND IT WENT AWAY FOR FOUR DAYS, BUT I STOPPED IT FOR THREE DAYS, BUT IT CAME BACK. MY QUESTION IS THE CIPROFLOACIN HAS VERY SCARY SIDE EFFECT IN THE FIRST PARAGRAPH. WHICH ONE SHOULD I TAKE?
