Is Ciprofloxacin Effective In Treating UTI?

Question: I am a meth addict and have been injecting for about 2 years. I also contracted Hep C. I have a bad UTI and the over the counter meds havent worked. I was told Cipro the ususal treatment is bad for Hep C . Is there any other treatment and will a doctor know.

In fact all antibiotics have some effect on liver.

Amoxycillin is relatively safe. You can try that.
Amoxycillin with Clavulinic acid is also fine.
