Is Ciproxin The Right Medicine For Reddish Spots On Penis?
Question: Hi,
I submitted a question about this a few days ago but I have an update so I would like a second opinion. I have some red spots on my penis and I had an online doctors appointment. They looked at it via webcam, and prescribed me ciproxin. Is this something that you would agree with? Or would you have suggested a different type of antibiotics? The lesions are slightly sore but not very itchy.
Would you have suggested the antibiotics or would you have tried another route? I have already checked and I do not have an STI or an STD.
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
Ciprofloxacin is good antibiotic, till time of local examination.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, i am following up your case.
The antibiotic Ciprofloxacin is commonly used, with good results.
The response in your individual case, depends on the lesion you have.
Till a local examination is done by an Urologist, you're advised to continue this.
The other reports are essential, for an expert opinion, on further treatment.
To continue with my consultation, you could ask a direct question, with my name.
