My doctor suggested Clamp kid forte and p 250 for my 6 year old kid's fever and he had enlarged tonsillitis. There is no fever since yesterday and he started going to motions frequently today.should i give any medicine for the motions. it is only 3rd day for the antibiotic.and Should i give him fever medicine if no fever too

Hi....Coming to your queries directly.

1. You need not give fever medicine if there is no fever. You need to give Paracetamol (fever medicine) only if the fever is more than 100F.

2. Loose stools are expected while giving the antibiotic clamp Kid (Amoxycillin Clavulenate). It is antibiotic associated diarrhea. The kid need probiotics specific for it. I suggest giving Econorm XXXXXXX one thrice a day for 5 days.
