Is Claritin Safe For Children?
Question: I gave my 16 month old claritin when she had a runny nose. After one dose she no longer had a runny nose. I have a 6 month old that has a runny nose is it ok to give to her ?

Hi....Claritin is Loratidine. Its safety and efficacy are not established in less than 2 year old kids. I do not suggest you giving it.
But off label uses are there....and no serious adverse effects are reported till now
