Detailed Answer:

Hello,

If you are getting frequent Supraventricular Tachycardia episodes you may need further evaluation for proper treatment.

For now, you can take a single dose of 120mg diltiazem but if it doesn’t help when you need to go Emergency Room.

It’s advisable for you to get an Echocardiography and a Holter monitoring minimum for 48 hours fine to evaluate frequency and XXXXXXX heart rate to decide the line of treatment.

If you have frequent episodes with symptoms then you may need an RFA treatment.

Kindly personally consult a Cardiologist with reports for better treatment.

Just to be clear.... if i take another 120 diltiazem, that would be three of the 120 mg capsules i have taken since 4 pm ... is that ok? Blood pressure is 112/80 now

Brief Answer:

No need

Detailed Answer:

Hello,

As your blood pressure is already in the lower side so there is no need to take another tablet of diltiazem as it can further decrease blood pressure.

Hope I have answered your query.

Take care
