Is HP Lot Safe To Treat A Lot Of Acidity?

No unless endoscopy shows H pylori infection it has no role.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
If the problem is caused by irritation from acid , I recommend the following:
1. Zantac (ranitidine) 150 mg twice a day. Zantac is an acid reducer that decreases acid production by 70%, allowing the tissues to heal. You may need to take this for a 21 days or longer. I prefer Zantac to the proton pump inhibitors (Nexium, Prilosec, etc) because it is safer and does not have the risk of discontinuation rebound hyperacidity when it is stopped.
2)H. pylori kit contains strong dose of antibiotic and is effective only when endoscopy proves that acidity or gastritis is caused due to a bacterium named H.pylori.
Was a endoscopy done on you?
Though not asked some precautions to be followed are-
Do not lie down for 2-3 hrs after eating.
Avoid acidic foods - citrus, tomatoes, juices
Decrease caffeine (colas, coffee) and sodas in general.
If alcoholic Decrease alcohol or completely stop it.
If you smoke cigarettes, now is the time to stop. They increase acid production and delay healing.
Feel free to follow up.
Attach reports of endoscopy if done.
Thanks.
