Brief Answer:
Skin to skin rubbing help seed the infecting virus

Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thank you for writing to us.

Herpes and Hpv are infections of skin and genital mucosa. Skin to skin rubbing would help in seed the virus through the minute abrasions induced by rubbing of skin against each other e.g as might happen during sexual intercourse or genital rubbing

Brief Answer:
Genital herpes can be detected by blood test

Genital herpes can certainly be identified with blood test, however, for Hpv there is no blood test. Hpv can be identified with a HPV DNA PCR test from skin scraping.
