Brief Answer:
Yes this is the right treatment

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for your query. I can understand your concerns.

Yes, you have to take heparin injection for 9 months as that is the correct treatment for APLA.

It is given as APLA is a blood thickening disease and can lead to abortion.

SO heparin which is a blood thinner is given.

Do not worry the treatment is correct.

but doctor, this apa test value is nagative even then she prescribe me for injection.and m also taking aspirin tablet daily

Brief Answer:
In your case they are just protective.

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

Yes they are negative if below 15. which is your case.

But the APLA value becomes negative over time and might not be always true negative at the time of miscarriage.

But heparin and aspirin can be given even when the values are negative if you had previous miscarriage as they are protective.

They are NOT absolutely indicated in your case but just protective.

if they prescribed me in protective manner then is it necassary to take injection daily?.is tablet not just enough for this.in my case how much risk is there to hve abortion.and injection is also too costly for me
doctor
Answered by Dr. Som Biswas (5 minutes later)
Brief Answer:
Medicines NOT mandatory in your case

Detailed Answer:
Dear XXXXXXX

If its costly i will advise NOT to take the injection AT ALL.

Aspirin you can take if you can afford but that too is NOT mandatory in your case.
