Hi,

Syrup Lactihep contains lactulose like substance which contains sorbitol and galactose.

It is considered safe for diabetics if taken in minor quantity.
But as a rule, it should be avoided.

For diabetics, a better alternative is triphala churan. It is over the counter product freely available.
