Is Levolin Or Duolin More Effective At Treating Cough?

Question: My daughter is on asthilin and cetrizine. However she is continuously coughing with no stopping with no phlegm. Do I nebulise her with levolin or duolin

Thanks for writing to us.
I understand that your child has wheezing and coughing.
Duolin is better as it has both bronchi dilation and large airway dilation by ipratropium.
But let me warn you - Avoid nebulization without oxygen at home . It can make wheezing worse.
Always nebulise with oxygen in a clinic or hospital nearby with oxygen facility.
If still not improving she may need consultation by Pediatrician.

She doesnt hve wheezing as of bow but coughing a lot. Is there a need to nebulize . I hve also given her piritone CS last night. She is only getting fever and coughing
