Brief Answer:
repository penicillin (benzathine benzylpenicillin) is the most effective
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for choosing HCM.
The regular intramuscular injection of repository penicillin (benzathine benzylpenicillin) is the most effective available treatment. For patients for whom the regular and repeated injections of benzathine benzylpenicillin are not given, an alternative but lesser effective method is the use of daily oral phenoxymethylpenicillin. Erythromycin tablet: (as stearate or ethyl succinate) can also be used as a life long prophylaxis(please discuss doses with your cardiologist).
Apart from that a betablocker and low dose diuretic can be added depending on your symptoms.
Thanks!
