Is Marvelon Effective In Delaying Periods?

Question: Hi I am planning to take marvelon to delay my period as I am going on a vacation this weekend. Will it stop the period if I take it on the first day of my period? Thank you.

MARVELON is NOT much helpful to delay period after period started.

Progesterone pill like NORETHISTERONE is useful to delay period. It should be taken twice daily 3 days prior to period due date and continued as long as you want (max 1 week). Kindly, consult with your doctor for prescription.

You will get a withdrawal bleeding within 3-5 days after stopping the pills and next period may be delayed due to hormonal imbalance.
