Is Meningococcal Vaccination Advisable For A 65 Year Old Woman?

default
Posted on Thu, 18 May 2017
Question: I am considering getting updated with vaccines. I have never received XXXXXXX and MenB vaccines. Can I get those two vaccines if I am not high risk and 65 years old now?
I get frequent e-coli infections. Should I get the HepA and HepB vaccines?

Brief Answer:
You can get the vaccines.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for trusting Healthcaremagic.
I have gone through your query and I can understand your concerns.
You can get meningococcal vaccine now. Age is not a contraindication for meningococcal vaccines. You can get XXXXXXX vaccine. MenB is newest of them and they are available only at selected centers.
You can also take hepatitis vaccine, but keep in mind that hep vaccine does not prevent Ecoli infection.

Wishing you good health.
Regards
