Brief Answer:
Give ORS,zinc,ofloxacin and metronidazole combination

Detailed Answer:
Hello

Thanks for asking on this platform

The main aim of management is to prevent dehydration by giving plenty of fluids.
The loose motion in this age can be due to food poisoning.I would suggest you to give ofloxacin and ornidazole/metronidazole combination as an antibiotic.
The ofloxacin dose for this weight would be 200 mg/day in two divided dosage and Metronidazole 300 mg/day in three divided dosage. Each 5 ml of metronidazole contains 200 mg, so the dose would be 2.5 ml three times a day.
In addition I would suggest you to give zinc syrup 5 ml per day (each 5 ml contains 20 mg) and some probiotic like Bifilac or enterogermina twice a day.All these are prescription medicine. So get these prescribed by a physician.
Give him ORS to prevent dehydration.

In case of decreased oral acceptance, persistent vomiting, decreased urinary frequency or too frequent stool consult your physician immediately.

Please let me know if you have any further query.
Wishing for your child's speedy recovery.
