Is Mintop 10% Solution The Right Treatment Procedure For Severe Hair Fall?

Question: hi,
I am XXXXXXX XXXXXX, working with air force, so posted to diffrent areas. I have a general hair fall since loong, but it has gradually increased in past 2 years since i have been staying in XXXXXXX hilly area. last 2 weeks ago i started using LIVON Hair Gain Tonic and have been aplying as per the prescription.
But i dont know what is wrong with the product or my hair that all of a sudden my hair fall has gradually incresed to almost 200 Hair per day also i cant comb or move my hand in my hair as a complete bunch of hair come in my hand. Kindly advise if i shall continue the use or stop it over here.

Also one of fellow doctor(not a dermatologist) has recommended me to use :
1. Dr Reddys MINTOP 10% solution (question is is advisable to start with 10% all of a sudden)
2. hvit tablet.
3. nizoral/ Citaphil Shampoo

Also kindly suggest what shall i follow as a solution.

From your description right now you are having telogen effluvium. 200 hairs falling per day is usually due to that. But from your history hair fall has started 2 years back and I am sure you are starting to bald as well.If you can upload photograph of your scalp from above I will be able to diagnose whether you have baldness or not.
Treatment of telogen effluvium is hair supplements. H vit forte tablet is better than H vit.Take it once daily for 3 months. Along with that use Mintop forte 5 % solution 1 ml twice daily over affected scalp.
Livon hair growth tonic hair peptides and herbal ingredients. Minoxidil solution is better than that.

Here i m uploading my pictures of current and as well as on eold picture of 2 years back.
request you to kindly look into the matter urgently and suggest me accordingly.
this problem is just making me tensed and worrying whole day each hour from previous one week,
My scalp has turned really dry and hair are falling mostly every minute on my shoulder and desk.
Also as a clinical history there is a bit hairditory issues, but not as such to be gone in 26 itself.
Also my question was shall i discontinue the use of livon immediately and which all the medicines to start with.

Welcome back.
Thanks for the photos. What you are having is classical male pattern baldness. Now a days we see baldness progressing from younger age.
Minoxidil 5 % solution is the FDA approved treatment for male pattern baldness. Apply Mintop forte 5 % solution 1 ml twice daily over affected area of scalp . As baldness is genetic and as we cannot change your genes , you need to continue using Minoxidil solution till you want hair. Stop livon and start this at the earliest. Take Hvit forte tablet daily once for 3 months and you may stop that after 3 months.
You will notice improvement only by the end of 3 months and maximum results at the end of 1 year.

Well i completely got your idea about Curing the Baldness but what i m majorily facing is Hair fall at a very high extent, So what shall i do to stop that immediately.

Like which shampoo to use and Whihc oil to apply and the way to apply medicine you prescribed to aaply and other one to take (timings for same). All i have observed is its majorly just becuase of LIVON which i stopped 2 days back and its less fall in 2 days, Also my scalp is very dry, like livon has mostly scratched whole scalp with a dry peel off skin like wounds or scrathes.

So kindly advise the complete procedure (timings to apply) and to eat medicines or may be change of food in diet and which shampoo to use and how regular to do shampoo.

Hello,
The details of how to apply minoxidil solution ( Dr Reddy's Mintop forte 5 % solution) is given in detail in the insert along with medicine. You need to take 1 ml of medicine in the dropper given along with the pack and apply it on the affected scalp and not hair twice daily , once in the morning after bath and once at night before going to sleep.
Take the tablet after food at night once daily for 3 months. The recent increased fall is due to cycling defect probably brought on by livon lotion and it will stop in 3 months time. H Vit forte tablet will help in correcting that defect and you need to take it only for 3 months.
Eat food rich in proteins like egg, lentils, pulses, milk etc. Nuts like Almond, walnut etc are rich in biotin.
Any mild shampoo will be okay , for eg : Triclenz shampoo ( Curatio) or Kerawash shampoo ( IPCA). You may shampoo your hair 3 days per week.
