Is Movantik Advisable For Opioid Induced Constipation?

Question: I have been taking Movantik for opioid induced constipation and have been told by my insurance company that constulose treats this same condition and is less expensive. Is this true?
Brief Answer:
Yes it is the same medication
Detailed Answer:
Hello, Thanks for posting your question on Health Care Magic.
Yes Constulose is also a laxative,it will give the.same effect as Movantik. You can take it bed time.
There are other simple measures to treat constipation like eating bananas, green leafy vegetables and drinking more of hot water.
It would also be nice if you could get yourself treated for the reason you are using opiod, as long time opiod useage could be harmful
Hope this answers your question
