Fact is that safety and effectiveness has not been studied properly in children below 12 years and specially underweight children,but if a child is 12 years bearing a good weight of 50 kg,then there should not be any problem in its use.
General and common side effects are nausea,vomiting,pain abdomen,headache etc.
Sometimes dizziness and drowsiness may also occur with its use.
Rarely severe allergic reactions like rash,difficulty breathing,swelling of tongue,lips and face may occur.
