Brief Answer:
Will not recommend giving Norflox TZ

Detailed Answer:

Hi,

Let me assure you that loose stools do not essentially mean that antibiotics like Norflox TZ are needed. In fact, irrespective of their use, unless there is blood in the stool, recovery would be in the same duration (in around 5 days). The mainstay of treatment is ensuring proper hydration. I would insist you not to give Norflox TZ unless there is blood in the stool. I would strongly insist you to give ORS (oral rehydration solution) and to ensure that hydration is proper.

Hope I have answered your query.
